About Bora Pamoja

Bora Pamoja Ltd is a legal entity incorporated and registered under the companies Act, RE 2002 with its registered offices at Kijitonyama area in Kinondoni, Dar Es Salaam. It was founded in 2004 and registered on 2007, as a Company Limited by Guarantee

The major objective of the company is to provide charity oriented services to the society in need.

The main targeted group that Bora Pamoja Ltd is aimed at helping, is the Youth and Children.

Youths are tomorrow’s leaders and are essential for the positive development of our nation. In our quest to empower the youth; we want to safe guard their health, give them a chance to maximise themselves and encouraging their active participation in public affairs.

This group constitutes 32% of the total population in Tanzania, and is expected to rise in the coming years due to a population growth of 2.9%. However, youth are singled out as a vulnerable group in Tanzania’s National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty (MKUKUTA), because young women and men suffer more from Poverty, Unemployment, Poor nutrition and Poor health (including HIV/AIDS), also young women and men are more exposed to physical and sexual abuse than the adult population at large.

Bora Pamoja Limited is run by young kind-hearted, creative and hardworking Tanzanian youths, who are well aware of the problems that their fellow Tanzanian youth are facing.

Bora Pamoja meaning “Better Together”, like the name itself; believes that if Tanzanian people can learn to work together, we can bring about change to our nation. As Tanzanians we have to participate in making a difference in our own communities and our society.
